Andrew Waddington was born in Whitchurch, Buckinghamshire in 1960 and in 1969 his family moved to Cornwall.
He studied at Falmouth School of Art, and then Dyfed College of Art, where he won the college prize. After finishing his studies in 1983, Andrew returned to Cornwall, where he now lives near the Tamar.
Andrew is both a painter and printmaker, specialising in lithographs and woodcuts, taking his inspiration from the natural world, and often depicting animals in an imaginary landscape.
Also influenced by music and poetry, he has exhibited his work in mixed and solo shows locally and in galleries nationally, including in Suffolk, Bristol and London.
Andrew's reputation has enhanced significantly in recent years and his art is now in private collections worldwide, including in America.
