After spending his early childhood in a small fishing village in Scotland, Neil Davies attended Farnham School of Art and obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art at West Surrey College of Art & Design.
He left inspired and determined to pursue a career in painting and lived for a while in Florence, fascinated by renaissance art.
He later taught at Guildford School of Art, West Surrey College of Art, Frome Community College and City of Bath College.
Moving to Cornwall, Neil became fascinated with the nature of the landscape of Penwith, and now paints full-time, working from his studio near St Ives.
Neil’s paintings are to be found in private collections across the UK and abroad.
