Sue Lewington trained as an artist at Harrow School of Art and worked for several years as an illustrator before moving to West Cornwall in the mid 1970s.
She taught printmaking at the Penzance School of Art and lived for many years in St Martins on the Isles of Scilly, before moving back to West Penwith.
Specialising in watercolour landscapes, Sue is best-known for sketchbooks of The Isles of Scilly and Cornwall, including those of landmark sites such as Heligan and the Eden Project and towns like St Ives, many of which are published in book form.
Though she now spends much of her time travelling, not least in Scotland and the Scottish Isles, she also finds time to continue her popular workshops in sketching, bookbinding and painting which allow her to share her many talents with aspiring artists.
