James has been a full time seascape and landscape artist since the nineties. His loose and energetic style has made him a stand-out Cornish artist and the strong light and colour are central to James’ dynamic artworks.
A full member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists (RSMA) since 2002, James’ work has also won several notable awards including the Charles Pears Award and twice the Kenneth Denton Award. His client list also includes international corporates like Waitrose, Winalot, the BBC and The Sunday Times.
His work is often shown at the Federation of British Artists’ society shows and he his work is found in both private and corporate collections around the world and we are delighted to have him on board the THG express.
