Julie Brunn achieved a fine art degree from Birmingham at the beginning of the millennium before undertaking a career in graphic design. She’s always held a love for animals and so shifted career to become an animal keeper at Longleat Safari Park and later Monkey World.
Starting a family gave Julie the chance to rediscover her painting talents and so it was obvious to her to paint the things she loves… animals and nature.
Over two decades she has developed a skill in painting animals’ characters and personalities and her experience of working with exotic animals has given her a rich understanding of the nature and character of those subjects, which comes out in her characterful artworks.
In 2018 Julie was a finalist in the Mall Galleries Wildlife Artist of the Year exhibition and her works have been collected by lovers both in the UK and internationally.
